Potty Trained!

Here is my potty-trained big boy! 

 So excited to add a sticker to his chart

We waited to potty-train Cayden after all our big summer trips were done and we could have some solid training at home. 

I followed the 'potty train in 1 day' method.  And it worked for us! 

Of course there is an occasional accident, but he was potty trained! 

Made me wonder why I waited so long!

Kiley's Room

This month we have been working on finally preparing Kiley's room.

Cayden has been a big help and has had fun getting ready for his baby sister.

We also pulled out the bouncy chair and swing to wash

 Our latest project has been this tree that

 we put above her crib

 The colors turned out better than we expected

 Still a little more to go before the room is ready,

but we are close! 

Good thing; we are running out of time  :)



4th of JULY

It was fun to watch Cayden this 4th of July.

He had a BLAST with sparklers and poppers!

 We did a few 'big' fireworks too.

At first were too loud, but later lots of fun!

Six Flags

Back to Six Flags!

This time we went with Nana, Papa, Uncle Chris, Uncle Bryan, and Brittney

 Cayden had fun on some rides that we missed on our last visit.

The 'jumping frog' literally jumped in a circle.

Cayden collected cups, snacks, and a friend from his kitchen and set up a tea time in the entry way

Six Flags and Discovery Museum

In June we took a long weekend for a trip with Grammie and Grampy.

Our first two days we spent at Six Flags, then we stopped at Children's Discovery Museum before heading home. 

Daddy had 'ride duty' for the weekend since Mommy was too pregnant for the rides. Literally I wasn't even allowed on
the cars that go 1 mph   :)  

Cayden had a blast in the ball room!

We snuck in a trip to go bowling. 

It was Cayden's first time.

He had a blast, but it took some time for him to realize that 'every turn' is not 'his turn' :)

Discovery Museum! 

I remember going here when I was in Elementary School.  It was so much fun to see Cayden play and explore!

 He even got to make his own corn-husk boy! 

I totally remember this when I was little!
