Camping at Seacliff

At the end of June we got to spend several days of Camping at Seacliff

It was Cayden's first trip to the Ocean

It was great; we were right on the beach
Checkin' out sand for the first time

Just one little taste was all it took for Cayden to realize that sand wasn't too yummy

Always a chilly morning, but the afternoons were pleanty hot to play in the water

Cayden kept saying "Bobble...Bobble!" (his word for water)

His first time seeing so much of it!

We had one afternoon of rain. After being cooped up in the motorhome most of the day; Cayden loved plaing outside!

Then back to a nice sunny morning

"Eeeww!"

That was Cayden's new word this trip. He would get sand stuck on his fingers, hold them up and say "Eeeww"

Uncle Bryan made Cayden a sand turtle. Cayden was so gentle with it.

At first anyway....

We had a great time!

It was fun to see Cayden experience new things and pick up on new words too!

Getting Ready

Cayden found Daddy's hat that was set out for camping.

It was funny; he came around the corner wearing it and then climbed up on his horse

It's a little big though!

So this is the downside of stairs and a 1.5 year old...

Of course the day he discovers how to drop things off the landing; he has to be holding a full bottle of baby powder. It exploded everywhere on impact!

Plus! We were getting ready to leave for camping so everything was white :)

A couple weeks ago we all went out for some fun on the quads

This past week we had temps. over 104!

We made a quick trip down to Lake Isabella to visit with Grammie and Grampy and also go to a graduation.

Grampy was gone, so Cayden took it upon himself to find Grampy's glasses and read his car magazines :)

Cayden had the most fun just petting the bulldog; almost as big as him!
She sleeps with her tongue out, so Cayden thought it was funny to touch it

Favorite Hat!

17 Months

Cayden had a fun weekend with Nana and Papa while we were away at Hume. He got to choose some new shoes at the mall, and then have a photoshoot!

Billy and I got to go on a couple's retreat at Hume Lake with Terry and Jerry.

We had a great time; it was wonderful to go to seminars, have delicious meals cooked for you, and do fun activities!
