Pool Time

In August we went camping with my cousins and our families at Lake DonPedro. It was a lot of fun all spending time together, and has been years since we all camped together

We spent lots of time out on Papa's boat

Cayden wasn't too sure about us putting him on the tube so soon :)

He decided to take some driving lessons instead

And of course Cayden had to try his hand at being the 'flag boy' too!

So Nana and Mommy had their turn at skiing

After hours on the lake, Cayden wanted yet more water, so we set up a kiddie pool at the campsite

Then back to more fun with Juliana!

We don't know what they are doing, but hey, they are occupied!

Every Summer is the Annual Luau BBQ

This year was extra special because we celebrated Grandpa Bill's 80th Birthday

~ Paradise ~

Here we come! Last month we were blessed with spending some time in beautiful Maui

So...a long plane ride with a 1.5 year old isn't exactly easy, but Cayden actually did really well

Finally Here!

This is the view from the back porch of our bungalow; Beautiful!

Even as the sun was setting our firsrt day; we couldn't resist taking a dip in the warm ocean

Cayden loved the ocean so much! We literally had to chase him around! ...there he is running off again :)

Here we are heading out for a hike in the tropical jungle to find a waterfall

The sign says "WARNING flash flooding could occur at anytime" Great!

yeah...not exactly safe. We had to balance through water and rocks to get to the waterfall

Next stop: the volcano

Us, being the tourists that we were - went from a hot hike to a waterfall; straight to the top of a freezing cold volcano!

LOL! Everyone else on the volcano was wearing pants and jackets! I guess we didn't get the memo - COLD

We went to see a blowhole too

Unfortunately the news showed that someone died at this blowhole just the day before we went

Of course we just happened to go at low-tide. This was all we saw of a blowhole...some rocks that were damp

It doesn't get too much more relaxing than this!

We had an amazing family vacation! It was a great experience to share with Cayden. We made lots of memories and experienced new things!
